It's mid-April. The last thing you probably want to hear about is anything IRS-related, unless of course it's the 2012 vintage of Stone Imperial Russian Stout, which is rolling out to shelves and tap lists starting on Monday, April 16. The uber-dark, wonderfully rich Stone Imperial Russian Stout--now in its twelfth release--is one of the world's highest rated beers, garnering a perfect score of 100 on RateBeer.com and an extraordinary 97 on BeerAdvocate.com.
Stone collaboration beer revisits Texas Brown Ale

Stone Brewing Co. is releasing its first collaboration beer of 2012--dubbed "Bear Republic ⁄ Fat Head's ⁄ Stone TBA"--which begins rolling out to select regions today. This particular beer pays homage to a relatively little-known beer style called Texas Brown Ale, which, strangely enough, has its roots in California. It originated as a hopped up version of a brown ale recipe, and it got pretty popular with a group of NorCal homebrewers in the early 1980s.

Stone Brewing Co. has released Stone 11.11.11 Vertical Epic Ale, the penultimate installment of its legendary series. Begun on February 2nd, 2002 (02.02.02), these bottle-conditioned ales have all been Belgian-influenced, but they share little else in common, with each year’s release revealing its own twist and turn in the plotline.

Stone Brewing Co. announces its newest collaboration beer available beginning today and rolling out in select markets across the country over the next few weeks: Bruery / Elysian / Stone La Citrueille Céleste de Citracado, an amber ale brewed with pumpkins grown on Stone Farms, yams, rye, toasted fenugreek, birch bark, and lemon verbena.
